Theoretical aspects: Now, there has been a lot of literature on the inventory and pricing of sellers considering strategic consumer behaviour in previous studies, but mostly assuming that sellers do not choose a rapid response strategy. This paper therefore explores pricing and inventory decisions in the context of sellers choosing a rapid response strategy, using a strategic consumer group as the research target and portraying a combination of psychological factors such as consumer risk preferences.
Empirical aspects.
(1) This paper provides a comprehensive and detailed analysis of consumer behaviour and consumer psychology, presenting consumer characteristics to sellers in a more visual way and better enabling them to choose inventory and pricing strategies that suit consumer characteristics.
(2) The value of rapid response is discussed in detail, and an optimal decision model is presented to help sellers make appropriate inventory and pricing decisions when adopting this strategy, enabling them to achieve greater profitability.
(3) The role of rapid response in reducing the negative impact of strategic consumer behaviour is demonstrated, and the conditions under which the strategy can be applied are indicated, providing a reference and positive effect for sellers in responding to strategic consumer behaviour.

经济批量间题简称ELS问题或DLS问题,是供应链管理中的一类十分经典的确定性库存问题,最简单的ELS模型是假设需求率和生产费用是固定的,通常被称为EOQ模型。而在现实生产和库存管理中,经常采用的是需求和成本随时间变化而变化的ELS模型。
ELS问题可以描述如下:一个工厂(可以是一个仓库、零售商等),在未来的每个时期要购进(或生产)一种产品,每个时期对此产品的需求量、进货费用函数和存储费用函数已知,并且它们随着时期的变化而变化。此问题中不允许有缺货现象,即每个时期末的库存量都是非负的。问题的目标是要确定何时进货、进多少货才能使这n个时期的进货和存储费用的总和最小。

The Economic Volume Interproblem, or ELS problem for short, is a very classical type of deterministic inventory problem in supply chain management. The simplest ELS model assumes that demand rates and production costs are fixed and is often referred to as the EOQ model. The simplest ELS model assumes that demand and production costs are fixed and is often referred to as the EOQ model. In real life production and inventory management, however, the ELS model is often used where demand and costs vary over time.
The ELS problem can be described as follows: a factory (which can be a warehouse, retailer, etc.), in each future period to buy (or produce) a product, the demand for this product in each period, the incoming cost function and the storage cost function are known, and they vary with the period. No stock-outs are allowed in this problem, i.e. the stock at the end of each period is non-negative. The objective of the problem is to determine when to stock and how much to stock in order to minimise the sum of the stocking and storage costs over these n periods.
The ELS problem will become increasingly widespread and complex, and more relevant. A large body of literature has so far been developed based on this problem. These include: the ELS problem of allowing stock-outs, the ELS problem of having a maximum production volume, the ELS problem with start-up costs and the ELS problem of producing (or buying) perishable products, etc. These problems are usually categorised as ELS problems.
